## POSITION OVERVIEW
Voice Up seeks a visionary National Director to lead Voice Up University, our digital learning platform connecting people to purpose while creating direct pathways to employment. This leader will oversee our educational ecosystem linking motivated learners with small businesses and corporations. The ideal candidate will develop transformative learning experiences for our target populations: single parents, high school seniors, those in recovery, future justice reform leaders, and social impact entrepreneurs.

## MISSION IMPACT
You will transform how individuals connect to purpose through pathways to meaningful employment, bridging the gap between purpose discovery and economic opportunity. Your work will empower single parents to build sustainable careers, prepare high school seniors for purpose-aligned professions, support those in recovery with meaningful work, develop justice reform leaders, and equip social entrepreneurs to transform communities.

## KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

### Employment Pathway Development
- Build partnerships with businesses seeking purpose-driven employees
- Create systems matching participants with purpose-aligned job opportunities
- Integrate career readiness throughout learning pathways
- Develop targeted employment pipelines for specialized populations
- Train business partners to support diverse employees

### Specialized Population Programming
- Develop support systems for single parents balancing education and family
- Create curriculum helping high school seniors discover career pathways
- Build recovery-supportive employment programs
- Cultivate justice reform leadership through experiences and mentorship
- Develop social impact entrepreneurship incubators

### Business and Employer Integration
- Create pathways for businesses to find purpose-aligned talent
- Establish workplace mentorship programs
- Build specialized tracks for high-demand sectors
- Provide resources helping workplaces support diverse employees
- Measure economic impact for participants and employers

### Employment Outcome Measurement
- Track job placements, career advancement, and economic impact
- Gather employer feedback on graduate preparation and performance
- Assess purpose-employment alignment
- Document ongoing professional development of graduates

### Resource Development & Sustainability
- Oversee technological infrastructure for remote learning
- Direct multilingual programming rollout
- Secure funding through grants and partnerships

- Develop PreK-12 programming addressing youth mental health

### Global Movement Building
- Articulate vision for purpose-centered education
- Share success stories demonstrating impact

## QUALIFICATIONS

### Experience & Expertise
- 5+ years leading innovative educational programs at regional/national level
- Success creating scalable learning experiences across diverse populations
- Track record fostering connection in learning communities
- Experience with family-centered programming and youth development
- Familiarity with faith integration while serving diverse populations

### Knowledge & Skills
- Understanding of employment trends and workforce needs
- Ability to connect purpose discovery to career pathways
- Knowledge of employer perspectives and workplace requirements
- Expertise in addressing employment barriers for specialized populations
- Familiarity with education-to-employment models
